TURNING, MILLING, GRINDING AND ROLLING
For the production of turned and milled parts based on the customer’s design VI-DA uses the best technology available on the market:
- Single-spindle and double-spindle Numerical Control lathes both with fixed and mobile headstock;
- Multitasking Turning / Milling;
- Centerless grinding machines;
- NC rolling machines;
- Laser and percussion marking unit.
Working range: diameter from 4mm to 65mm; up to 300 mm with chuck.
Raw material
VI-DA has developed a qualified Supply Chain able to provide materials and documentation that comply with the requirements.
The availability of raw material in stock allows to optimize the delivery lead time.
The following are the main materials used:
- Machining and tempering steels
(C45, Fe360,11SMnPb30, 36SMnPb14, 39NiCrMo3, 40NiCrMo7, etc.) - Steels for thermochemical treatments
(16CrNi4, 20MnCr5, 18NiCrMo5, 41CrAlMo7, etc.) - Tempering steels for high strength
(30NiCrMo12, 30NiCrMo16, 36NiCrMo16, 40CrMoV13-9, 300M, etc.) - Bearing and spring steels

Special attention is paid on the procurement of materials that comply with the increasingly stringent regulations (eg. Reach, Rohs, MOCA).
HEAT TREATMENTS AND SURFACE TREATMENTS
The heat treatments and surface treatments are performed by qualified suppliers able to meet the requirements of VI-DA and its customers.
QUALITY INSPECTIONS AND CHECKS
The Quality Management System is certified according to the ISO 9001:2015 and EN 9100:2018 standards.
The products are subjected to strict controls during each working phase in order to guarantee the quality of the final product.
Constant monitoring of the production process is guaranteed by the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
The Quality Control department has a complete metrology room. Non-destructive tests (Penetrating Liquids and Magnetic Particles) are carried out by personnel with 2nd level license.
LABORATORY TESTS
VI-DA collaborates with accredited laboratories for the execution of specific tests requested by the Customer.
Packaging
VI-DA is able to satisfy the different packaging requests.
It is also offered the possibility of having individually packaged products, by the use of an automatic bagging machine equipped with a thermal printer. This technology was adopted in a green view to simplify and economize the waste disposal management.
